English: Westminster Abbey This west front of the Abbey is just in this grid square, the rest being in TQ3079 The gothic lower part was completed in the 15th century. The two towers, designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor in a more classical style, were added at the beginning of the 18th century. There is a comprehensive description of this facade, and the rest of the building on the Abbey's website here http://www.westminster-abbey.org/ |
