Nederlands: Westland, s-Gravenzande, Marktplein. Kunstwerk "Gravin Machteld" van Ingrid Rollema. Netherland. FOP. Het beeld van Gravin Machteld op het Marktplein, werd daar in 1996 geplaatst toen ‘s-Gravenzande 750 jaar bestond. Als een eerbetoon omdat de Gravin ervoor heeft gezorgd dat het dorp ooit stadsrechten kreeg. Het Marktplein werd gerenoveerd in 2018 en beeld werd verwijderd en opgeslagen. Op 10 februari 2023, wordt het beeld teruggeplaatst op het Marktplein BRON:https://www.ad.nl/westland/gravin-machteld-over-twee-weken-weer-op-oude-plek~ade8f69b/ |
