c/n WA483 Built in 1966 for the Royal Navy with the British military serial XT761. Served with 707, 771, 845, 846, 847 and 848 Naval Air Squadrons before being stored at Wroughton in November 1986. In April 1988 she was moved to Lee-on-Solent and became part of Air Electrical/Engineering School and was given the Admiralty maintenance serial A2767. In May 1993 this was changed to A2678 and she moved to the Air Engineering & Survival School at HMS Sultan, Gosport. In 2006 she was moved to RNAS Yeovilton for potential use by the Royal Navy Historic Flight, but this was not to be and she moved to RNAS Culdrose in June 2013 for static display purposes. She was sold off in July 2017 and civil registered as G-WSEX in March 2018 before being restored to flying condition in 771 Squadron markings. She flew again on 15th February 2019 and is now operated by Historic Helicopters who are based at Chard in Somerset.
