Description

c/n WA.627 Built 1969 as the second to last Wessex produced. Fitted out as a VIP aircraft and joined the Queen’s Flight at RAF Benson in June that year. She flew in that role until retirement in March 1998 and was then stored at RAF Shawbury. She joined the RAF Museum in 2002 and moved to Hendon where she remains on display in Hangar 4.
