English: Western Road, Crookes In the 1935 Kelleys Directory for Rotherham and Sheffield, there is a gap here between no.s 162 and 174 Western Road. Its quite possible that the Post Office and adjoining houses were built later on. Ive always known the corner building to be a General Store and Post Office, since my schooldays. |
