Summary
[edit]DescriptionWestern National 353 FTT704 upstairs gangway.JPG |
English: Looking forwards on the upper deck of an Eastern Coach Works 1955 lowbridge bus. These had a reduced height to allow them to pass under bridges and other overhangs, but this was achieved by having a sunken gangway on the offside of the upper deck. This resulted in the seats seating four people with little headroom; the gangway also reduced the headroom of seats by the window in the lower saloon - see File:Western National 353 FTT704 platform.JPG. The bus is Western National 353 which is carried on a Bristol K6A chassis. |
