Description
English: View of the local Pilot Travel Center along Florida State Road 44 just west of Interstate 75 in Wildwood, Florida. The Wildwood Travel Centers of America is across the street from this place. In the distance you'll also find a Citgo Truck/Auto Plaza, a Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant, an International House of Pancakes, a truck washing place, and a garage known as the 75 Chrome Shop, which specializes in adding chrome bumpers and parts to big rigs. This section of SR 44 is loaded with truck stops, tourist centers, hotels, and what not, not only because of the interchange with I-75, but because of the close proximity of the northern terminus of Florida's Turnpike Other places like this can be found on the east side of the interchange, but I didn't capture any of those.
