English: Looking north along the western wall of Arlington National Cemtery in Arlington, Virginia, in the United States. Carpenter Road is on the other side of the wall, separating the cemetery from Ft. Myer, a U.S. Army base. Arlington officials hope to replace the wall at some point with a new, higher structure that will incorporate a columbarium (wall niches for cremated remains). |
