DescriptionWest Pier Perspective, Brighton - geograph.org.uk - 461819.jpg |
English: West Pier Perspective, Brighton, Great Britain. I do like the way the original supports stretch over this part of the beach, almost as a 'dot to dot' exercise. This is the state of the pier following two fires this decade (Strange, that!) The Pier started to fall into disrepair following its closure during World War 2 and was last open to the public, albeit in a dilapidated state in 1975. |
