Summary
[edit]DescriptionWest Pier - geograph.org.uk - 1730757.jpg |
English: West Pier
This photograph was taken from near the seaward end of West pier (the commercial fishing pier) and is looking toward the town. The building standing forward of the town, with the large brown door, is the lifeboat house. Click here to see a photograph taken from approximately the same position but facing the opposite direction: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1730752 . In the late 60's I dabbled with a number of different makes of slide film before settling on Kodachrome. This one was a Boots own brand that you had to mount into your own frames, hence no actual processing date. The date given for the year taken is, by my recollection, the latest possible processing date. However, it could have been at any time during 1965 to 1969. |
