Description

Seen here on 5th November 2011, after it's major clean by myself and Alex Gauden. We moved the bus to the bottom yard to move out the seating which it had been storing for it period in the yard, and them moved back to the top yard for further work on inside.

When this picture was taken, the front number plate had been reinstated, the indicator stalk was replaced and working, and the rear light clusters were replaced after being broken while parked up. The batteries require replacing, but following little charge they start and cause no problems (lack of use we think). This day was a cleaning day to prepare 536 for work ahead.

A lot still needs to be done - in particular the wheel arches and wings which I am sorting. also a new windscreen is required to pass an MOT.

I owe a huge thanks to those who have helped me so far, in particular Paul Emery, Kevin Ellis, Dave Cox, Alex Gauden and Mike Poole.

No date is set, but 536 should be entering the rally scene during 2012 in its restoration livery (ie - depend what it wearing at the time). Prososed plan is Trans Lancs 2012 (but Keighley is also a strong candidate.)
