Summary
[edit]DescriptionWest Dock Street, Hull - geograph.org.uk - 1219067.jpg |
English: West Dock Street, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Waste ground off the south side of West Dock Street, Hull, looking southeast towards the G F G Plastics factory at No.101. There are plans to redevelop this patch of land and call it the 'Merchant's Quay Business Park' but there was never a quay here. Behind the trees to the right is Clive Sullivan Way (part of the busy A63(T) dual carriageway) where there was once a mass of railway junctions and sidings next to Billingsgate Fish Market on the north side of St Andrew's Dock. Before the dock and the railways were built there was a farm here called Dairy Coates Grange. |
