English: West Dock Bridge (south end) West Dock Bridge on Bridge Street, across the passageway from Railway Dock into West Dock. The swing bridge is unusual in being built on an upward angle from north to south, allowing greater clearance for small craft such as barges to pass beneath it without the need to swing the bridge. |
