Description
English: West Crewkerne: Clapton Mill A Somerset watermill preserved and open to the public. It has a 21 ft diameter waterwheel by Coombs of Beaminster which once powered four pairs of stones. The wheel is powered by two sources – a leat from the river Axe and an iron launder on tall brick piers, carrying water from the Clapton Beck
