English: West Bank sea wall before summer shower An impressive sky over Wells as rain threatens. The sea wall between Wells and the beach was constructed in the 19th century in order to reclaim marshes to the west. It was strengthened following flooding in 1978 and more recently with Armorflex concrete revetment blocks |
