Description
Deutsch: Nach 17 Monaten Bauzeit öffnete der um 12.500 m² vergrößerte Weserpark am 23. Oktober 2014 seine Pforten. Der Weserpark bietet jetzt auf 66.000 m² insgesamt 170 Shops sowie Gastronomie und Dienstleistungen. Ein neuer Food Court mit über 380 Sitzplätzen und 14 Restaurantkonzepten erweitert das gastronomische Angebot. Auch die Bestandsmall erhielt ein neues Innendesign und hat sich damit dem neuen Konzept angepasst. Bereits im vergangenen Frühjahr wurde ein neues, fünfgeschossiges Parkhaus mit weiteren 1.200 Parkplätzen in Betrieb genommen, so dass der Weserpark nun über insgesamt 4.800 kostenlose Parkplätze verfügt. Insgesamt wurden 65 Mio. Euro in das Center investiert, das durch die Erweiterung zu einem der größten Shopping Center Norddeutschlands wird. Das Centermanagement liegt in den Händen der MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement GmbH & Co. KG, in deren Auftrag die ECE Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG die Vermietung durchführte. Für Projektentwicklung und Baumanagement war die METRO PROPERTIES zuständig. Bauherr und Eigentümer ist ein Gemeinschaftsunternehmen der Steenken Gruppe, Münster, und der METRO PROPERTIES, Düsseldorf.
