English: Up ECML freight passing Walton Crossing, south of Werrington Junction. View northward, towards Grantham and the North on the ECML and to Boston and Grimsby by the Loop line from Werrington, with the ex-Midland Peterborough - Melton Mowbray etc. lines on the left. The Class F freight is headed by Gresley K3/2 2-6-0 No. 61867, built 10/25 as No. 228 (1946 No. 1867), withdrawn 11/62. Behind the crossing in the foreground is Walton station, on the Midland lines only (closed 7/12/53). |
