Description

Wembley Stadium is a football stadium in Wembley, London, England, which opened in 2007. It's on a site of a former stadium which was an iconic building and stood from 1922 until 2003.

The modern stadium hosts major football matches including home matches of the England national football team, and the FA Cup Final.

It has become a major landmark and can be seen for many miles.

My picture was taken in the early morning with the low sunlight slanting across the site. I had to crop it from a larger image & the quality suffered - sorry!
