Čeština: To že Welzlův algoritmus umožňuje zmenšování poloměru mezivýsledku vede k tomu, že bod který je zafixován se dostane dovnitř dalších mezivýsledků. Algoritmus se z toho nevzpamatuje. V tomto případě vrátí kruh určený body 8, 1, 6, ale bod 2 leží mimo. Existuje i menší protipříklad, například bod 4 (a nejspíš ano bod 7) není potřeba.
English: Fact that Welzl's algorithm allows decreasing of subresults radius leads to situation that fixed point becomes interior of following subresuts. Algorithm does not recover from it. In this example circle determined by points 8, 1, 6 is returned, but 2 lies outside of it. There exists smaller counterexample, for example point 4 (and probably even 7) could be omited. |
