| Description |
English: Welshpool Raven Square station, 2003. View westward, towards Llanfair Caereinion: ex-GWR/Cambrian Welshpool & Llanfair narrow-gauge Railway, closed 2/31 to passengers (11/56 to goods), restored 4/63 by the heritage W. & L. Light Railway. The latter ran trains between Llanfair Caereinion and Castle Caereinion, later to Sylfaen until 6/64, then to this terminus since 18/7/81, the last section to Welshpool BR station being abandoned. |
