Description

Originally built in 1826 as an entrance to Buckingham palace the arch was moved to its current location at the top of Constitution Hill in 1882.

Also known as the Constitution Arch it was originally topped with a statue of Wellington but this was removed to Aldershot in 1912 and the current statue is of four horses drawing a chariot.
