Description
English: Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles Harvey, a 33-year-old Corpus Christi, Texas native, places a sheet of metal into the "Finger-Break" in the welding shop on-board the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The "Finger-Break" is a tool used in the welding shop to bend metal safely, without the hazard of the injuring the machine's operator. Ronald Reagan's welding shop puts a high focus on safety, ensuring that every Sailor within the workspace is properly trained and equipped for the project. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
