Summary
[edit]DescriptionWelcome to the Air Force Space and Missile Museum.jpg |
English: This sign is on the path from the public parking lot to the Complex 26 blockhouse, which is the main building of the Museum. Besides the blockhouse, there is also an Exhibit Hall containing an actual V-2 rocket engine, and a full size scale model of Dr Robert Goddard's first liquid fueled rocket, that was launched in 1927 from a golf course near Worcester MA. The building also holds the fully instrumented Gemini 2 spacecraft that flew unmanned and was the only spacecraft until Space Shuttle mission STS-2 that had flown in space twice |
