English: Weir on River Lathkill The water of the River Lathkill is remarkably clear and blue, despite recent heavy rain. Just a couple of hundred yards furthe up Lathkill Dale the flow is much less (often completely dry) as most of the water flows underground. When the photo was taken a coot family was nesting on the sluice. |
