| Description |
English: Weir near Alrewas, Trent and Mersey Canal. This shows the somewhat inadequately protected weir where the River Trent leaves its flat crossing with the canal. Boaters should keep well away, especially when a strong stream is running. There have been examples of boats going over this weir and sustaining considerable damage, not to mention the expense of recovering them. |
