English: Weir at Whitchurch Lock in flood The weir at Whitchurch Lock is here seen from the Pangbourne bank of the river during the unusual summer floods of 2007. The weir normally has a fall of over 1 metre, but here the river below the weir (nearest the camera) is level with that above the weir, which itself is significantly above normal levels. The line of the weir can only be seen because of the walkway above it. |
