Now to be seen in the Brush- and Regional Museum at Schoenheide/Saxony
Deutsch: Weihnachtspyramide aus Schönheide im Erzgebirge, ausgestellt im Schönheider Bürsten- und Heimatmuseum – Untere Etage mit Parade von Bergleuten in Paradeuniform(Bergaufzug). - Text der Beschriftung im Museum: um 1830, gehört zu den ältesten erhaltenen Pyramiden des Erzgebirges. Ca. 60 geschnitzte Figuren. Erste Etage: Bergaufzug und Handwerker. Zweite Etage: Darstellung der biblischen Weihnachtsgeschichte (Maria und Josef auf der Flucht nach Ägypten, Engel, Soldaten, Schriftgelehrter…). 3. Etage: Paradiesgärtlein mit Adam und Eva, Baum mit Schlange, exotischen Tieren. Der 24. Dezember galt lange Zeit als Adam-und-Eva-Tag. „Der klassische Drehturm aus Schönheide mit seiner Barockbekrönung mag auf die Zeit um 1830 zurückgehen.“ (Adolf Spamer, Deutsche Volkskunst, Sachsen, Weimar 1954) „Älteste geschnitzte Figuren des Bergaufzugs sind auf Pyramiden aus der ersten Hälfte des vergangenen Jahrhunderts (gemeint ist das 19.
