English: From the collections of the Medical History Museum, Gothenburg, Sweden. The scales were purchased for the Childrens hospital in Gotheburg by Gustav Billkvist (1837-1906). Billqvist was the deputy doctor at Sahlgrenska hospital, then located at Östra Hamngatan 11, and became the childrens' hospital chief doctor when Gothenburgs first childrens' hospital opened at Östra Hamngatan 9, in 1859.
Svenska: Från samlingar på Medicinhistoriska museet, Goteborg. Vågen köptes in till Göteborgs barnsjukhus av Gustav Billkvist (1827-1906). Billqvist var andreläkare vid Sahlgrenska sjukhuset vid Östra Hamngatan 11 och blev det nya barnsjukhusets första läkare när Göteborgs första barnsjukhus öppnade vid Östra Hamngatan 9, år 1859. |
