Description
Deutsch: Bei der Sprengprägung (auch: Kunstsprengung) wird unter Verwendung eines hochbrisanter Sprengstoffs (z. B. Semtex) der Abdruck eines oder mehrere Gegenstände oder eines Schriftszuges oder Bildes auf eine plane Fläche (Seitenverkehrt) geprägt. Die Zündung kann von oben oder von der Seite erfolgen. Die Sprengstelle muss vor dem Sprengen sauber gereinigt werden. Die Zünder dürfen nur ganz wenig in den Sprengstoff gesteckt werden, um eine möglichst hohe Sprengwirkung zu erzielen.
English: With Explosive embossing (also: art blast), the print of one or more objects or a font train or image is shaped on a tarpaulin area using a highly explosive (e.g. Semtex). The ignition can take place from above or from the side. The explosive point must be cleaned cleanly before blasting. The detonators may only be inserted into the explosives in order to achieve the highest possible explosive effect.
