Description
Deutsch: Wegekreuz auf dem Burgfriedhof (seit 1890) in Bad Godesberg; es stand ursprünglich im Marienforster Tal; die Inschrift (im Schatten des Steintischchens) enthält vier Hausmarken oder Handgemale [1] bis [4]; die Inschrift lautet:

I.[3].K.M.[4].D
AO ist das Kürzel für ANNO (im Jahre); es sieht so aus, als enthielte der folgende Text die Namenskürzel von vier Personen (vielleicht den Stiftern), die sich durch die (von ihren Initialen flankierten) Hausmarken oder Handgemale („Unterschriften“) ausweisen; [2] ist ein Drudenfuß, [4] ein Stundenglas (Drudenfuß und Stundenglas kommen als Namens- oder Eigentumszeichen häufig vor). Die Kombination von Buchstaben (den Initialen) und Hausmarken oder Handgemalen ist typisch für die Zeit nach dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg. „Die Marke bleibt in ungestörter Handhabung, aber die Initialen werden daneben gesetzt, wenn nicht gar, ..., der volle Name hinzutritt“ (Homeyer, Die Haus- und Hofmarken, Seite 345, Verlag der Hofbuchdruckerei, Berlin 1870).
