nd foot and lower. The brome grass plats, Cf And D. in rotation 41were harvested this week. The yields on the plats were 2450 and 3100 lbs.per acre respectively. No bloom is showing on the alfalfa. There hasbeen more wind this week than for some time previous, and this evening weare having the highest wind we have had since last March. Temperatures:maximum 92-30th, minimum, 50-24th, means, 83 and 51, precipitation .28,wind velocity, 12.4. Beliefourche: The weather during the past week has been dry and hot. Barley that hadcommenced to head last week is still in the boot and the heads probablywill never fully emerge. In some spots the barley is drying up. Oats andwheat are not so far advanced and has not suffered as much. The plats ofoats following brome grass and alfalfa are the only ones that have beenbadly damaged. All grain will be short, Corn has been growing rapidly -and is now as large as it usually is at this season of the year. Maximum100 degrees, minimum 46, precipitation .06.

Big Springs: Maximum temperature for the week 101, minimum 64, wind velocity 8.0 milesper hour, evaporation 2.74 inches, precipitation .98. This precipitationfell late Saturday evening on June 23, and was reported in last weeks re-port. This shower wet the ground sufficiently to enable us to plant theexperimental plats and part of the north field. Milo, Eifir, sorghum, andcotton planted on Monday and Tuesday is emerging rapidly and we expect agood stand with most of these crops, except on late spring plowed land.The above rain only covered a small section of the country and was heaviesta few miles to the northwest of the farm. Winter wheat yields on the C.C.plats ranged from 6 to 11 bushels per acre. Dalhart: The weather continue? day and ws are having Considerable Wind. During themor.th 6f June but 1.03 inches of precipitation has been recorded.
