Description
English: Buildings on east side of 200 block of North Main Street in Wayne, Nebraska. The block is part of the Wayne Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The two-story building at left is at 223 N. Main; it was built in 1890. To its right ("The Diamond Center") is the building at 221 N. Main; it was built in 1898. Next right ("Support Our Troops" sign in left window) is the building at 219 N. Main; it was built in 1893. The brown brick building at the right edge of the picture is at 217 N. Main; it was built ca. 1895. The building at 217 is a contributing property in the historic district; the other three buildings are non-contributing properties.
