| Description |
English: Waymarked path in Pound Wood. The picture shows part of a circular nature trail in Pound Wood Nature Reserve, Daws Heath, Essex. The reserve, owned by Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk/visitor_centres__nature_reserves/pound_wood_nature_reserve/ was purchased in 1993. Although there has been a wood here for hundreds of years the trees are relatively young as the timber has been regularly cropped. For more info on the nature trail see http://www.poundwood.org.uk/Trail/PrintableTrail.htm . |
