Description
English: Watling Street and the Waggon and Horses, Elstree. This is the roman road Watling Street, which later became the main road from London to Holyhead. It was the A5 until renumbered following building of the M1 Motorway. The pub, marked on the OS map, has been there since the 15th Century.
