Summary
[edit]DescriptionWatery Cycle Route - geograph.org.uk - 853534.jpg |
English: The official, oldest Thames Path uses the passenger and bicycle-carrying Shepperton Ferry to cross the River Thames, pictured. This itinery, as such, does not use iconic Walton Bridge and a less time-consuming route through Lower Halliford, but instead enjoys views of more boats, Desborough and D'Oyly Carte islands. A time-pressed cycle route, marked, is to make from Walton Bridge straight through Shepperton High Street to Laleham village centre and Staines then continue along Runnymede road rather than path to Windsor, Maidenhead, Marlow, Henley and Reading where an overnight stop could be delayed until. If on foot, diverting less than a mile north or south of here produces good hotels in Weybridge and Old Shepperton. |
