Description
English: Waterloo House at 20 Murray Street, Hobart, on the corner of Davey Street. This was originally the Waterloo Hotel / Waterloo Tavern, later converted to a boarding house and renamed Waterloo House, and occupied by law firm Butler, McIntyre & Butler since 1970.[1]. It was offered for sale in 1842 [2] and an establishment named Waterloo was already licensed in 1823 by Petchey & Wood [3].
