Summary
[edit]DescriptionWaterfront Walk - Worcester & Birmingham Canal - diving sculpture opposite The Cube.jpg |
English: On Waterfront Walk off the Worcester & Birmingham Canal, opposite The Cube, Birmingham
Diving sculpture opposite The Cube. Can't say I've noticed it before, and I've been past this section of the canal before! I wouldn't recommend diving into the canal. It is too shallow, and you would hurt yourself (better off at a swimming pool with diving board!). The sculptor was Cathy Lewis. In 2006 Cathy was commissioned by Charles Church Developments to create a large sculpture for a public site beside the new Registry Office at Holliday Wharf, Birmingham. To be published in the Birmingham Mail readers letters page. Saturday 23rd November 2013. The Day of the Doctor. #SavetheDay |
