English: Waterfall cascading down the stepped cliff The stream at this stage shows the characteristics of a hanging valley, the lower part of its course having been eroded away by the sea, Before the construction of the harbour road the waterfall would have discharged on to the beach. Today, the water is channelled through pipes under the road. |
