Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Waterfall at Freshwater Steps, Encombe This stream from the Encombe valley was once channelled to the end of the Freshwater Steps promontory. Erosion of the small clay promontory has broken up the stone channel (part of the wall can be seen on the right) and it now falls down to the beach on the west side of the promontory. The coastal path crosses the stream behind the stone wall in the distance, climbing up (to the right) to Houns-Tout cliff above Egmont Bight.
