Description
English: The droplet of water holds a spherical form standing on only 5 grains of hydrophobic sand, which was synthesized in our laboratory. The hydrophobic sand is a sand, which carries the water-repellent properties. The droplet of water is repelled by only 5 grains of such sand and doesn't wet it. Additionally, the surface tension helps to droplet held a spherical form.
