Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This mosque in Akarbaşı locality was built on an old temple. It was built by the Akkoyunlu ruler Uzun Hasan towards the end of the XVth century and bears his name. The mosque was repaired in 1796, 1874 and 1968. Its minaret was repaired by Halil Bey in 1859. Though not in the park itself it always felt to me as if I started a tour through the Balıklığöl area here. The water flowing passed the mosque and through its courtyard will be from the same source.
