[edit]DescriptionWater Wagon Wheel, S.B. County Museum 5-2012 (7210421430).jpg |
English: (1 in a multiple picture set) Whenever I see an old, weathered item like this water wagon wheel, I like to move in close to see the detail. You can see the rim and bolt to hold it on. The grain of the dried-out wood tells of its age. You get some sense of the skill it took to make this wheel. These are the last of the wooden wheels which go back into ancient history without much change. |
