Description
Deutsch: 11. Station der Zukunftsenergientour: Wasserkraftanlage Kuhlemühle in Warburg

Auf der 11. Station seiner Zukunftsenergientour nahm NRW-Klimaschutzminister Johannes Remmel am 23. Mai 2013 mit einer Delegation der EnergieAgentur.NRW die Wasserkraftanlage Kuhlemühle in Warburg in Betrieb. An dem historischen Wasserkraftstandort werden mit dem Wasser der Diemel zwei Turbinen und – nach gewässerökologischem Umbau – eine neue Wasserkraftschnecke angetrieben. Der auf diese umweltfreundliche Weise erzeugte Strom wird von der Warburger Brauerei genutzt.
