Description
English: Washington Parker Gregg (1802-1892) began his career as a member of the bar and practiced in the City of Boston, Massachusetts before becoming a clerk of the Common Council of Boston. In 1882 he celebrated 40 years of public service in the council. This CDV portrait was taken at "8 Summer Street, Cor. Washington, Boston, Massachusetts", Circa 1882. Son of Samuel Gregg, a noted American inventor.
