Description
English: Warsaw Uprising: Senior Sergeant Franciszek Jabłoński "Wilk" (on the right) during restoration of "Chwat". "Chwat" was a German Jagdpanzer 38(t) "Hetzer" tank destroyer captured by the Home Army soldiers during fights around Main Post Office. Initially heavily damaged and built into a barricade, but later fixed and kept operational until lost under ruins of the postal building.
Polski: Powstanie Warszawskie: Starszy sierżant Franciszek Jabłoński "Wilk" (po prawej) podczas reperacji "Chwata". "Chwat", niemieckie działo pancerne typu Jagdpanzer 38(t) "Hetzer" zostało zdobyte podczas walk o Pocztę Główną. Początkowo zniszczone i wbudowane w barykadę lecz później zreperowane i używane dopóki nie zostało utracone pod gruzami zniszczonego budynku poczty.
