Description
English: The first village in the vicinity of Košice, which was during World War II liberated by the Red Army from the fascists was the village Skároš. In December 1944 there were more than 100 soldiers killed during the liberation. Today, these heroes are commemorated by the Liberation Monument and the Natural Arms Museum in Skároš.

You can see the legendary Soviet tank T-34, anti-tank gun ZiS-2, divisional gun ZiS-3 caliber 76 mm and two howitzers. Every year, on 8 May, the village commemorates the end of World War II. and the memory of victims by laying wreaths. The memorial is located at the end of the village in the direction of Hungary and there is a large parking lot. Map: mapy.cz/s/kumopoduha


Prvou obcou v okolí Košíc, ktorá bola počas druhej svetovej vojny oslobodená Červenou armádou od fašistov bola obec Skároš. V decembri 1944 tu pri oslobodzovaní padlo vyše 100 vojakov. Dnes týchto hrdinov pripomína Pamätník Oslobodenia a prírodné múzeum zbraní v obci Skároš.

Môžte tu vidieť legendárny sovietsky tank T-34, protitankový kanón ZiS-2, divízny kanón ZiS-3 kalibru 76 mm a dve húfnice. Každý rok si 8. mája obec pripomína koniec 2. sv. vojny a pamiatku obetí kladením vencov. Pamätník sa nachádza na konci obce v smere do Maďarska a je pri ňom veľké parkovisko.
