English: War Memorial at Little Cawthorpe. The memorial stands 1480mm tall and at its widest point at the base measures 770mm. The three steps, at the front of the memorial contain the names of three men from the village who died in World War 1. There are three names on the south side of the memorial-three brothers who died in World War 2.In December 2005, the memorial(constructed from concrete) was covered in algae and difficult to read. |
