Deutsch: Die Gestaltung stammt von Otto Renkhoff, sie basiert auf einem Gerichtssiegel Michelbachs aus dem 16. Jahrhundert (nach 1539). Die Lanze und der Drache waren zusammen mit dem Erzengel Michael auf dem Siegel abgebildet, dieser hielt das Patrozinium des Ortes inne und verlieh dem Ort seinen Namen.
