Description
Polski: W połowie drogi pomiędzy Waniewem a Śliwnem w pobliżu kładki edukacyjnej i wieży widokowej znajdują się ruiny zamku. Dawniej przeprawa przez Narew broniona była przez zamek położony na kępie narwiańskiej, mniej więcej w połowie mostu, co ułatwiło kontrolę i ochronę przeprawy. Możliwe, że pozostałością umocnień z tego okresu jest rozległy majdan otoczony wałem położony wśród narwiańskich łąk, pomiędzy Waniewem a Pszczółczynem. W 1513 r. wybuchły na Podlasiu walki pomiędzy rodami Gasztołdów i Radziwiłłów, w wyniku czego w odwet za spalenie zamku tykocińskiego przez Iwaszkę Hlebowicza (namiestnik Radziwiłłowski w Waniewie), Olbracht Gasztołd spalił zamek Radziwiłłów i most na Narwi. Przeprawę przez rzekę ani zamku już nie odbudowano.
