November,December, January and February are the pleasantmonths, statistically, in Hong Kong. The Briton has displayed his sturdiness of char-acter by forcing a home in Hong Kong, for naturefashioned the north shore of this island to be anabiding-place for birds and animals. Adventur-ers from the British Isles have won a plateau fromthe sea by piling and filling in, and by executingengineering feats that have converted a precipi-tous mountain side to blossom with villa sites androads and foot-paths leading to them.
